Depot Mayfield

Former industrial warehouse in Mayfield hosting major club nights and Warehouse Project season.

Depot Mayfield warehouse interior

Depot is the scale venue for Manchester's clubbing calendar. The converted factory space in Mayfield sprawls across multiple levels with room for several thousand people, heavy sound systems, and the kind of production that justifies the journey out. The warehouse bones show - exposed brick, industrial beams - and that's the point.

Most known for hosting the Warehouse Project season every autumn and winter. Lineups pull in electronic artists and touring DJs from across Europe. The venue has its own programming too beyond WP: live acts, festivals, and club nights. The building absorbs sound well; even at full capacity the bass never turns to mud.

Getting there means heading to the edge of town. Parking is possible but tighter than central venues. Buses run regularly to Mayfield. Door policy is standard; dress codes vary by night. The space gets cold in winter - take a coat even if you don't plan to leave the dancefloor.
