Ticket resale, safely

Face-value-only ticket resale board for verified sellers and legitimate tickets.

Ticket stubs for various Manchester performances

If you have a ticket to a sold-out show or an event you can no longer attend, the MCR.CITY resale board lets you list it at face value. No markup, no speculation. The system verifies that you actually bought the ticket - you upload proof of purchase - and that you're selling it for what you originally paid. Buyers know they're getting a legitimate ticket at the right price instead of getting scalped or worse, ending up with a counterfeit.

The verification process is straightforward. You prove ownership of the ticket, state the face value, and the board lists it for other people to find. When someone wants to buy, they can message you to arrange pickup or delivery. Payment goes through the platform so both seller and buyer have protection - the seller knows they'll get paid, the buyer knows the ticket is real before they hand over money.

It solves a real problem: sometimes life happens and you can't make a show, but you don't want your ticket going to waste or into the hands of someone who'll flip it for triple the price. The resale board keeps tickets in circulation at fair prices, which means more people get to see the shows they want without getting financially exploited.
