About This Event

Wait and Bleed – Nu Metal Night Manchester

If you're craving a proper night of nu metal anthems, Wait and Bleed at The Deaf Institute is the Saturday night out you've been waiting for. This free 18+ event on 30 May 2026 brings together Manchester's metal heads for an evening dedicated to the raw energy of Limp Bizkit, Korn, Deftones and everything in between. Whether you're a die-hard fan from the genre's 90s peak or just love the heavy riffs and aggressive beats, this is your chance to relive or discover the soundtrack that defined a generation.

The Deaf Institute on Oxford Road is one of Manchester's best-loved independent venues, known for hosting quality alternative and rock nights in an intimate, no-nonsense setting. The venue's reputation for bringing genuine music culture to the city makes it the perfect home for a night celebrating one of rock's most controversial and beloved subgenres. You'll be in good company with fellow metal enthusiasts who actually know their stuff.

Getting there is easy – Oxford Road is right in the city centre with excellent public transport links and plenty of nearby parking. Kick off at 11pm and come ready to move; expect a packed dancefloor, heavy basslines pumping through top-quality sound, and that distinctive nu metal energy that never gets old. Arrive early to grab a drink and soak up the pre-show buzz with like-minded metalheads.
