About This Event

# Sunday Skate 26th April 2026 – Manc Skating at The Barlow RC High School

Lace up your skates and join Manc Skating for a proper Sunday night session at The Barlow RC High School in Didsbury on 26th April 2026. Whether you're a seasoned roller or just fancy giving it a go, this free 18+ event is a brilliant way to get moving and connect with Manchester's growing skating community. It's the kind of grassroots culture night that's become a fixture in the city – no pretension, just good vibes and wheels.

Didsbury's got that sweet spot between leafy South Manchester charm and genuine creative energy, and The Barlow RC is perfectly positioned to host this kind of inclusive event. The school's spacious grounds provide an ideal skating surface, and the whole area's got loads of cafes and bars nearby if you fancy a post-skate drink with your new skating mates.

The session kicks off at 7pm, so it's ideal for a Sunday evening before heading into the week. Just bring your skates – or get in touch with Manc Skating beforehand if you need to borrow kit. Expect friendly faces, good tunes, and that infectious energy that keeps Manchester's DIY culture scene thriving. It's completely free, so no excuses.
