MCR.CITY is run by a small editorial team based above a pub in the Northern Quarter. We cover Manchester seven days a week and read every email, form submission and DM that comes in.
The contact form below is the fastest way to reach us for most things. Use the subject dropdown to route your message to the right person. General enquiries and tips go to the editor; press releases and media partnerships go to the press inbox; advertising enquiries are handled by our partnerships team and you'll usually hear back with a rate card within 24 hours. For event submissions, use the dedicated submit form, which has the correct fields for date, venue, pricing and tickets.
If you're a Manchester venue that wants to get listed in the directory, send us your venue name, full address, website, opening hours and three or four photos (exterior, interior, one dish or one performance shot if relevant). If you're a promoter with regular events, let us know and we'll set up a feed so your listings go live automatically. If you're a reader who's spotted a factual error, typo or broken link, we'd rather hear about it than not, so please send it through.
We don't run a physical office counter for drop-ins. If you need to send physical post (press kits, product samples, printed programmes), email us first and we'll share the registered address. We also accept phone calls during working hours for urgent press matters only; all other enquiries should come through email or the form so we have a written record.
Our standard reply time is within two working days, though it's often much faster. If you haven't heard back in a week, it's worth chasing because something may have gone to spam. We don't share your contact details with third parties. Our full data handling policy is on the privacy page.
