Manchester Metropolitan University has campuses spread across Manchester - All Saints near the city centre is the main teaching campus, with additional sites in Didsbury and Crewe. Most undergraduates spend the majority of their time at All Saints, which is walking distance from the city centre and close to transport links. The campus itself is built into city blocks rather than a traditional campus green, which means your lectures and facilities are mixed in with local shops, restaurants, and the broader city.

The library and student spaces are integrated into the All Saints buildings. Unlike universities with one central library, MMU's study spaces are departmentally organised, so get to know where your subject area is based early on. The students' union facilities are in the heart of the campus. With teaching split across multiple buildings, you'll get to know different parts of Manchester as you move between lectures and classes.

First-year accommodation options include halls near All Saints as well as shared housing in surrounding areas. The proximity to the city centre means you're never far from shops, food, or nightlife, which can be an advantage or a distraction depending on how you study. The university is integrated into the city in a way that UoM isn't - you're studying in the city rather than in a separate university campus, which appeals to some students more than others.
