# DUBSTATE: Mixtress, Imad:re, Lilyn DUBSTATE brings three heavyweight selectors to Manchester for a night of serious electronic music at SOUP this September. Mixtress, Imad:re, and Lilyn are respected names in the underground scene, so expect quality vinyl and dub-heavy beats that'll keep the dance floor moving from 11pm onwards. At just £6 to £12.70, it's proper value for a Friday night with genuine tastemakers behind the decks. SOUP sits right in Manchester's city centre and has built a solid reputation for hosting intimate, no-nonsense club nights away from the mainstream circuit. The venue's stripped-back vibe suits electronic music perfectly – it's all about the sound system and the music here, with a crowd that actually listens rather than just swallows whatever's trending. It's exactly the kind of space where underground DJs thrive and punters get what they came for. The city centre location means it's easy to reach by tram or a quick walk from Piccadilly, and there's decent food and drink options nearby if you want to grab something before or after. Get there early to catch all three DJs and to avoid the late-night queues – SOUP fills up quick for nights like this. Remember it's 18+ only, so bring ID. Wear something you can move in; this crowd dresses down and focuses on the music.Browse more Nightlife events in Manchester or explore city-centre.
