# Clint Boon 'The Manchester Chronicles' Book Launch – Bask, Manchester
Clint Boon, the legendary Inspiral Carpets frontman and absolute Manchester institution, is launching his highly anticipated book 'The Manchester Chronicles' at Bask on Wednesday 23 September 2026. This is a rare chance to hear directly from someone who's lived through and shaped Manchester's most iconic musical moments, from the Madchester scene through to today. At just £6, it's brilliant value for an evening with a genuine Manchester legend who'll give you the real stories behind the city's cultural legacy.
Bask sits right in the heart of Manchester's independent venue scene, perfectly placed to host an event celebrating our city's music and culture. The intimate setting creates that proper Manchester vibe – friendly, unpretentious, and all about community. It's exactly the kind of venue where you'd expect Clint to feel at home, surrounded by people who genuinely get what he's about.
Doors open at 19:00, so arrive early to grab a drink and settle in for what promises to be a proper night of storytelling. Clint's known for being generous with his time and genuinely interested in connecting with Manchester people, so expect some genuine interaction, not just a quick reading.
