About Luck Lust Liquor & Burn

Luck Lust Liquor & Burn is not a place for a quiet dinner. It’s a place for three tequilas and a burrito the size of your forearm at eleven o’clock on a Saturday night. Sitting on High Street in the Northern Quarter, it’s been a late-night fixture for years – the kind of spot you end up at rather than plan for, though plenty of people do both. The interior is deliberately rough around the edges. Neon signs, loud music, sticky tables. It is what it is and it owns it.

The menu is built around burritos, tacos, and things that go well with tequila. The burritos are massive and stuffed with slow-cooked meats, rice, beans, cheese, and whatever sauce you fancy. The pulled pork is a favourite. Tacos are decent too – soft corn tortillas with properly seasoned fillings. Nachos are piled high and arrive looking like a beautiful mess.

When to Go

Late. That’s the real selling point. When most kitchens in the NQ have shut, Luck Lust is still going. It’s perfect post-pub, post-gig, or just when you want food that doesn’t take itself seriously. Burritos are around nine to twelve quid. Margaritas and tequila are the drinks to order. It’s loud, chaotic, and exactly what you need at the end of a big night in the Northern Quarter.
