Trapdoor Comedy is bringing a cracking night of stand-up to The Old Monkey on Wednesday 14 October, with doors opening at 19:30. This is your chance to catch some brilliant comedians in an intimate setting without breaking the bank at just £8 a ticket. Whether you're after proper laughs or fresh talent on the Manchester circuit, this is a solid midweek option that won't leave your wallet empty.
The Old Monkey is a proper city-centre gem tucked away in the heart of Manchester's nightlife scene. This independent venue has built a real reputation for hosting quality comedy nights and live entertainment, drawing locals and visitors alike who appreciate somewhere with genuine character. The intimate atmosphere means you're close to the action and part of the show in a way the bigger clubs can't match.
Getting there is dead easy—the venue is right in the city centre, so you can hop off the tram or walk from Piccadilly. Rock up a bit early to grab a drink from the bar and soak in the vibe before the comedians hit the stage. Just remember it's 18+ only, so bring valid ID if you look young, and expect to laugh your socks off.Browse more Nightlife events in Manchester or explore city-centre.
