# Thrashing Pumpguns w/Leader + Chewed Out at Aatma
Thrashing Pumpguns are bringing the noise to Aatma this Sunday night with support from Leader and Chewed Out, making for a seriously solid line-up of raw, energetic rock. At just a fiver, this is exactly the kind of intimate gig that defines Manchester's underground music scene – no pretence, no massive mark-ups, just three bands ready to tear the place apart. If you're after something genuinely different on a Sunday evening, this is proper worth your time.
Aatma sits right in Manchester city centre and has become known as one of the go-to venues for alternative and indie acts who actually give a toss about their craft. The intimate space means you'll be close enough to feel the energy properly, and the sound's always decent. It's the kind of room where you bump into proper music fans rather than just getting lost in a sea of randoms.
The gig kicks off at eight o'clock sharp, so get there early if you want a decent spot near the stage. Wear something you don't mind getting sweaty in – this won't be a standing-still kind of night. The city centre location means parking's dodgy but public transport's spot on; it's worth arriving with time to grab a pint beforehand at one of the many spots nearby.Browse more Music events in Manchester or explore city-centre.
