The Surfrajettes are bringing their infectious energy and brilliant musicianship to Manchester's city centre this September, making this a must-see night for anyone who loves live indie pop with real heart. This all-female band has built a loyal following across the UK with their sharp songwriting, infectious hooks, and genuinely charismatic stage presence—expect an evening of catchy, feel-good tunes that'll have you dancing and grinning in equal measure.
The Bread Shed is one of Manchester's most beloved independent venues, tucked away in the heart of the city centre with genuine character and a real community feel that bigger spaces just can't match. Known for championing brilliant live acts and maintaining an intimate atmosphere, it's the perfect spot to catch emerging talent and established bands alike without losing that personal connection between artist and audience.
Getting to The Bread Shed is straightforward—it's within walking distance of Piccadilly station and close to the Northern Quarter if you fancy grabbing a drink beforehand. Doors open at 19:00, so arrive early to grab a good spot and soak up the pre-show buzz; the venue's compact size means it fills quickly for popular acts like this. Bring some cash if you can—independent venues always appreciate the support, and you'll want to pick up some merch to remember the night.Browse more Culture events in Manchester or explore city-centre.
