# Manchester Events Guide: The Music Circle Presents: Live @ Freight Island
The Music Circle Presents brings quality live entertainment to one of Manchester's most vibrant cultural spaces on Thursday 29 October 2026, kicking off at 5pm. At just £3.00 a ticket, this is proper value for money if you're after some genuine live music in the city centre without breaking the bank. It's the kind of intimate gig that lets you discover new talent or catch established performers doing what they do best in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
Freight Island has become a real hub for independent events and creative types across Manchester since establishing itself as a go-to venue. Located right in the heart of the city centre, it's got that authentic, alternative edge that makes it stand out from your typical commercial spaces – it's where local culture actually happens. The vibe here attracts proper music lovers and creative folk who appreciate something a bit different.
Getting to Freight Island is dead easy from Manchester Piccadilly or any of the tram stops nearby, so you've got no excuses not to venture down. Rock up early to grab a decent spot and soak up the atmosphere; these intimate shows fill up quickly and the crowd's always sound. Bring some cash for drinks and merch, and prepare yourself for an evening of proper live music done right, Manchester style.Browse more Music events in Manchester or explore city-centre.
