The Clockwork Circus is coming to Manchester on Thursday 6 August 2026, bringing a unique blend of contemporary circus performance and steampunk aesthetics to the city. This 16+ event promises an evening of jaw-dropping acrobatics, mechanical artistry, and theatrical storytelling that'll set it apart from your typical night out in Manchester. At just £7-£10 per ticket, it's brilliant value for something genuinely different on the Deansgate entertainment scene.
The Carlton Club sits right in the heart of Deansgate, one of Manchester's most vibrant cultural quarters packed with independent venues and creative spaces. This intimate setting creates the perfect atmosphere for circus performance, where you're close enough to catch every detail of the skilled performers while maintaining that atmospheric, slightly mysterious vibe the venue's known for. It's the sort of place where Manchester's alternative arts scene thrives.
Getting there's straightforward – Deansgate-Castlefield tram stop is just a short walk away, or it's easily accessible by bus. The show kicks off at 19:30, so arrive early to soak in the atmosphere and grab a drink beforehand. Given the 16+ restriction and the steampunk theme, expect an edgy, creative crowd; dress code's casual but wearing something with a bit of flair would fit right in with the vibe.Browse more Culture events in Manchester or explore Deansgate.
