SCENE 2026 is wrapping up with a proper closing party on Thursday 27 August that's set to be one of the summer's standout nights in Manchester. This is your chance to celebrate the conclusion of what's been a major cultural event, so whether you've been following SCENE all summer or fancy jumping in at the finale, it's absolutely worth pencilling in. The 18+ crowd will get a real sense of the energy and community that's been building throughout the festival season.
Castlefield's Campfield Market is one of Manchester's most atmospheric venues, sat right in the heart of the historic canal quarter where industrial heritage meets modern culture. The Market's cobbled setting and converted warehouse vibes create the kind of backdrop that just works for a big night out – it's got that authentic Manchester character that nowhere else quite captures. You'll be surrounded by some proper iconic Manchester architecture while you're at it.
Getting there's straightforward – it's dead central and you've got good transport links via bus or tram if you're heading from other parts of the city. Doors open at 8pm, so arrive early if you want a decent spot and time to soak in the Castlefield atmosphere. Bring layers because August nights can turn chilly by the water, and expect a decent mix of live music, DJs, and the kind of buzzy crowd that makes Manchester events special.Browse more Culture events in Manchester or explore Castlefield.
