# PULP – Live from Wythenshawe Park
Pulp are bringing their legendary Britpop swagger to Wythenshawe Park on Friday 28 August 2026, and it's a proper homecoming gig for one of Sheffield's finest. The iconic nineties outfit will be performing live from 4pm, delivering all those anthemic tracks that defined a generation – think "Common People," "Disco 2000," and more. It's the kind of event that'll get Manchester music fans buzzing, with a stellar outdoor setting perfect for late summer vibes.
Wythenshawe Park is one of South Manchester's crown jewels, offering nearly 300 acres of gorgeous green space with tree-lined pathways, ornamental gardens, and that proper peaceful Manchester vibe away from the city centre buzz. The park's outdoor stage has hosted some cracking cultural events over the years, and this natural amphitheatre setting makes it ideal for a live music experience. You'll find loads of room to spread out and soak up the atmosphere without feeling squeezed in.
Getting there's easy – it's well signposted from the A5103, with decent car parking available, or you can catch the tram to Wythenshawe Town Centre and walk through the park. Arrive early to grab a decent spot and soak up the surroundings; bring a blanket, settle in, and prepare yourself for proper nineties nostalgia done right. Doors open at 4pm, so plan accordingly and check the venue's website for any weather updates or additional entertainment.Browse more Culture events in Manchester.
