# Manchester Events Guide
Learn the art of denim repair at the Nudie Jeans Repair Workshop, happening Saturday 12 September 2026 at 1pm in Manchester's Northern Quarter. This hands-on session teaches you how to mend rips, replace zips, and reinforce seams on your favourite jeans, extending their life and reducing textile waste. It's a brilliant way to pick up practical skills while connecting with the sustainable fashion community right here in Manchester.
The Nudie Jeans store sits in the heart of the Northern Quarter, Manchester's creative hub packed with independent shops, galleries, and vintage boutiques. This vibrant neighbourhood has become a destination for fashion-conscious locals and visitors alike, making it the perfect spot for a workshop that celebrates quality over quantity and conscious consumption.
The workshop is free to attend, though spaces are limited so arrive early or check ahead for booking details. Bring along any jeans needing repair—trainers optional but recommended given you'll be handling needles and thread. After the session, stick around the Northern Quarter to explore nearby cafes, record shops, and street art, or pop into one of the area's excellent independent retailers just a short walk away.Browse more Culture events in Manchester or explore city-centre.
