NEW BEST FRIENDS presents is bringing a fresh night of live entertainment to Manchester on Friday 2 October 2026, kicking off at 9pm at Savanna Tree. This is the kind of intimate gig that showcases emerging talent in the city's thriving music scene, and at just a fiver entry, it's brilliant value for a night out in the centre. If you're after something different from the usual club circuit, this event delivers genuine character and buzz.
Savanna Tree has carved out a solid reputation as one of Manchester's most welcoming independent venues, known for hosting everything from live bands to club nights that actually feel like proper nights out rather than corporate affairs. The venue's got that warm, unpretentious vibe that locals love, with decent drinks and a crowd that's there for the music rather than the Instagram moment. It's exactly the kind of space where new artists get their moment and audiences discover their next favourite band.
Getting there's straightforward—the venue's centrally located and easy to reach on foot or by tram from most parts of the city centre. Since it's an 18+ event, bring ID, and arrive early enough to grab a decent spot and soak in the atmosphere. Expect a packed room of proper music fans and a night that'll remind you why Manchester's nightlife remains genuinely special.Browse more Nightlife events in Manchester.
