# Monton Soul & Pop Festival Guide
The Monton Soul & Pop Festival is a brilliant day out for music lovers across Manchester, bringing together classic soul and contemporary pop acts for a full afternoon of live entertainment on Sunday 30 August 2026. With ticket prices ranging from £15 for general admission up to £180 for premium packages, there's an option for every budget, making it accessible whether you're after a casual festival experience or want to splash out for VIP treatment. This is the perfect summer send-off before September, offering quality live music in a relaxed, community-focused setting.
Hosted at Monton Cricket Sports Club, the venue sits in one of Manchester's friendliest neighbourhoods, just west of the city centre. The cricket club's grounds provide a spacious outdoor setting ideal for a festival atmosphere, while the local area is packed with independent cafes and pubs that capture proper Manchester character. It's the kind of intimate yet vibrant space that makes events feel special rather than corporate.
Getting to Monton is straightforward via the 7 or 8 bus from the city centre, or there's decent parking nearby if you're driving. Arrive early to bag a good spot and soak up the atmosphere—bring a picnic blanket, sunscreen, and settle in for what promises to be a cracking day of live music with fellow Mancunians.Browse more Music events in Manchester.
