# Luke Combs at Freight Island – Manchester Events Guide
Live Republic is bringing American country superstar Luke Combs to Manchester on Friday 4 September 2026, and this is one of the biggest country gigs hitting the city this year. If you're a fan of modern country music, you won't want to miss this chance to see one of the genre's biggest names live in our city centre. Tickets are reasonably priced between £15 and £27, making it accessible for most music fans, though you'll need to be 18 or over to attend.
Freight Island is Manchester's go-to spot for live music and events, tucked away in the heart of the city with a proper buzzing atmosphere. The venue's industrial vibe and open-air setup create an electric environment that's perfect for a country concert, and you'll find yourself surrounded by genuine music lovers who actually care about the performance. It's become a real hub for quality live entertainment across all genres.
The gig kicks off at 7pm, so arrive early to soak up the atmosphere and grab some food or drinks from the on-site vendors. Public transport links to Freight Island are solid from across Greater Manchester, or there's decent parking nearby if you're driving in. With an 18+ age restriction in place, expect a proper adult crowd and a mature, engaged audience – exactly the vibe you want for a quality country concert.Browse more Music events in Manchester or explore city-centre.
