# Ian McNabb (Icicle Works) at The Carlton Club Manchester
Ian McNabb, legendary frontman of 80s indie icons Icicle Works, brings his solo material and classic hits to Manchester's Carlton Club on Thursday 15 October. This is a rare chance to catch one of the city's most influential musicians performing in an intimate setting, delivering the atmospheric guitar-driven sound that made Icicle Works cult favourites. Whether you're a devoted fan of "Love is Like a Flower" or discovering McNabb's extensive catalogue for the first time, this gig promises an unforgettable evening of quality live music.
The Carlton Club sits right in the heart of Manchester's Deansgate area, a historic music venue beloved by locals for its authenticity and great acoustics. This intimate space has hosted countless memorable performances and retains the character that makes Manchester's music scene so special, far removed from massive arenas but packed with atmosphere and genuine connection between artist and audience.
The show starts at 7pm with tickets priced at £25, making it accessible for serious gig-goers. The venue is easily reached from Deansgate station and surrounded by excellent bars and restaurants for pre-show drinks. Ages 14+ are welcome, so bring mates who appreciate proper indie music.
