# Elite Speed Dating – Manchester – Ages 33-48
Looking for a proper night out that might actually lead somewhere? Elite Speed Dating is bringing its tried-and-tested format to Manchester on Friday 7 August 2026, specifically designed for the 33-48 age bracket. You'll get a series of quick-fire conversations with other singles in the same boat, with tickets running from £15 to £25, so it's a low-pressure way to meet someone genuine without the swiping fatigue.
Be At One in Castlefield is the perfect spot for this kind of thing – it's got that buzzy bar atmosphere that takes the edge off without being too loud for actual conversation. Castlefield itself is one of Manchester's most atmospheric neighbourhoods, with the historic canal basin and converted warehouses creating a proper grown-up vibe that suits the demographic.
The event kicks off at 19:30, so arrive a few minutes early to settle your nerves and grab a drink. Speed dating usually runs for about two hours with organised rounds, so you'll rotate through multiple conversations – bring a pen to jot down names if your memory's dodgy after a few drinks. It's straightforward, honest, and beats spending another Friday swiping through apps at home.Browse more Culture events in Manchester or explore Castlefield.
