# Desi Central Comedy Show – Manchester Events Guide
Preet Singh is bringing the Desi Central Comedy Show to Manchester this September, and if you're after a night of sharp, culturally-rooted comedy that actually gets it, this one's for you. The show blends South Asian perspectives with proper stand-up craft—no stereotypes, just genuine laughs from someone who knows how to work a room. Whether you're into comedy or just fancy discovering fresh talent in the city, this is exactly the kind of gig that makes Manchester's comedy scene worth talking about.
The Frog & Bucket in the Northern Quarter is an absolute institution for live comedy in Manchester. Tucked away in the heart of this buzzing creative neighbourhood, it's got that proper intimate feel where comedians can really connect with the crowd. The venue's known for championing diverse acts and putting on consistently brilliant shows, making it the perfect setting for emerging and established performers alike.
The show kicks off at 7pm on Sunday 13 September 2026, so arrive early to grab a decent spot and maybe a drink from the bar. The Northern Quarter's packed with decent pubs and street food if you fancy making an evening of it beforehand. Fair warning: it's comedy club etiquette to show respect to the performers, so leave your phone on silent and just enjoy the banter.Browse more Culture events in Manchester or explore Northern Quarter.
