Artist painting a large-scale mural on building wall

Many street artists in Manchester take on commission work for buildings, businesses, or public projects. If you have a wall or space and want a mural, MCR.CITY can help you connect with artists. The process starts with seeing portfolios of work and talking directly with the artist about your space and vision.

Commission budgets vary widely depending on the scale of the work, the complexity, and the artist's experience. A small wall might cost a few hundred pounds, while large-scale building murals run into thousands. Most artists will discuss budget upfront and create a proposal for your specific wall.

Start by browsing artist profiles and looking at previous work. Many artists have images of their murals online. Get in touch, describe your wall - location, dimensions, what you want - and ask for a quote and timeline. The artist will visit the space and work with you to develop the design.
