One Pound Comedy at Creatures Comedy Club is an absolute steal for anyone after a proper night of live stand-up without breaking the bank. For just a quid, you're getting a full evening of comedy from established and up-and-coming comedians who actually know how to work a room – it's the kind of bargain that barely exists in Manchester nightlife anymore. Whether you're a comedy regular or testing the waters for the first time, this Thursday 22 October event at 7pm is genuinely unbeatable value.
Creatures Comedy Club sits right in the heart of Manchester's Northern Quarter, an area absolutely buzzing with independent bars, vintage shops, and creative spaces that make it the cultural heart of the city. The venue itself has become a go-to spot for quality comedy nights and live performances, with an intimate setup that lets you actually engage with the performers rather than sitting miles away at some corporate chain.
You'll want to arrive early to grab a decent spot and maybe a drink from the bar – the £1 cover doesn't include beverages, so budget accordingly. It's 18+ only, so bring your ID, and expect a packed room of proper comedy enthusiasts on a Thursday night. Get yourself down to the Northern Quarter and join the queues – genuine comedy nights this cheap don't come around often in Manchester.Browse more Nightlife events in Manchester or explore Northern Quarter.
