It's the perfect Saturday activity if you're looking to expand your palate and discover wines you'll genuinely want to drink again. Wandering Palate's Monton location is one of Manchester's real gems for food and wine lovers, tucked away in this charming neighbourhood that's increasingly become a destination for independent food businesses. The venue's intimate setting makes it ideal for tastings, where you can chat with fellow wine fans and the knowledgeable staff without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Monton itself has proper character, with loads of independent shops and cafes making it worth spending a few hours exploring. The event kicks off at 2pm and you'll need to be 18 or over to attend. Head to Monton by tram or bus – there's decent parking nearby if you're driving, though honestly a few glasses in you might fancy walking off some of those wines. Bring an appetite too; these tastings often pair wines with nibbles, and there's usually time to grab lunch or a bite locally both before and after.Browse more Food events in Manchester.
