# In Bloom: Another Country at The Abbey, Castlefield If you're after a brilliant night of live indie and alternative music in Manchester, In Bloom: Another Country is bringing three cracking bands to town on Wednesday 2 September 2026. Those Holy and Scania are joining Another Country for what promises to be an electric evening of proper guitar-driven tunes, and at just £7.50 a ticket, it's one of the best value gigs you'll find around. This is the kind of grassroots Manchester show that keeps the city's music scene thriving, perfect for anyone who wants to discover fresh talent without breaking the bank. The Abbey is tucked away in Castlefield, one of Manchester's most atmospheric neighbourhoods, where Victorian warehouses and cobbled streets give the area real character. The venue itself has built a solid reputation for hosting intimate live music, making it ideal for getting up close to the bands and genuinely connecting with the performances. Getting there's easy – Castlefield train station is practically on your doorstep, and there's decent parking nearby too. The gig kicks off at 19:00, so arrive early to grab a drink and soak up the vibe. It's strictly 18+ so bring your ID, and expect a packed room of proper music lovers ready for a Wednesday night well spent.Browse more Music events in Manchester or explore Castlefield.
