# Laugh Out Proud! Manchester Guide Entry
Laugh Out Proud! is Manchester's premier LGBTQ+ comedy night, bringing together top stand-up talent for an evening of sharp wit, hilarious storytelling, and unfiltered humour that celebrates queer culture. Taking place on Saturday 29 August 2026 at 19:30, this is the perfect night out if you're after genuine laughs in a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where comedy doesn't hold back. At just £5 entry, it's fantastic value for a proper night of entertainment with some of the best comedians on the circuit.
Area Manchester sits right in the heart of the city centre, making it one of the go-to venues for LGBTQ+ events and nightlife across Greater Manchester. The venue's got a cracking atmosphere, proper sound system, and a reputation for hosting events that feel genuinely community-focused rather than just commercial. You'll find it's ideally located near Chinatown and the Gay Village, so you can easily grab a drink elsewhere before or after the show.
Get there early to bag a good spot and soak up the pre-show buzz with the friendly crowd. The 18+ age restriction keeps things appropriately adult, so expect some proper blue humour and banter. Whether you're a comedy regular or just after a brilliant night out with mates, Laugh Out Proud! delivers exactly what it promises—proper laughs, good vibes, and a real sense of community that makes Manchester's nightlife scene special.Browse more Nightlife events in Manchester or explore city-centre.
