Spinningfields

Spinningfields is the glass-and-stone edge of the city centre, where offices, courts and restaurants sit beside the River Irwell. It is Manchester at its most formal, with lunch meetings turning into after-work drinks.

Use it for steak, rooftops, smart bars and a stop at John Rylands Library on Deansgate. Prices sit high for Manchester, but the area is easy to read and simple to reach on foot.
