Hulme sits just south of the city centre and carries a big post-war, co-operative and arts history. Regeneration changed the streets, but the area still has a strong community and creative edge.
Niamos, parks and local arts spaces are the main anchors for visitors. It is also a useful bridge between Oxford Road, Moss Side and the universities.
