About Seven Brothers Taphouse

Seven Brothers is a Salford brewery founded by – you guessed it – seven brothers. The McAvoy family started brewing in 2014 and built it into one of the most recognisable local beer brands in Greater Manchester. The taphouse at the brewery in Salford is where you drink it freshest.

The beer range covers everything from session lagers to IPAs, stouts, and seasonal specials. The Throw Away IPA is the flagship – a reliable, easy-drinking IPA that you’ll find in pubs across Manchester. The sour beers and specials are where they get more creative. Quality is solid across the range. Nothing groundbreaking, but consistently well-made beer.

The Salford taphouse is in the brewery itself on Daniel Adamson Road, near MediaCityUK. It’s an industrial unit dressed up with a bar and seating. Brewery tours run regularly if you want to see how it’s made. They also have taproom locations in the city centre and other spots around Greater Manchester.

Food varies by location – some taphouses serve their own menu, others have food trucks or local vendors in. Check ahead if you’re planning to eat.

The MediaCityUK tram stop is nearby for the Salford location. The city centre taprooms are more convenient if you don’t want to trek out.

Local brewery, local beer, local family. The kind of business Manchester should support.
