The wine list leans natural and biodynamic, with a rotating selection of bottles from small producers. It’s not trying to be intimidating – the list is approachable and the staff are genuinely helpful if you’re not sure what to order. There’s a good selection by the glass, which is useful if you want to try a few different things.

Ancoats has changed significantly over the past decade and Flawd is part of the wave of independent businesses that have made it one of the better areas of the city to spend an evening. Busy on weekends; quieter and more comfortable midweek.
