Spanish tapas restaurants in Manchester do proper Spanish food: patatas bravas, jamón, croquetas, seafood. It’s meant for sharing and drinking wine alongside.

01 Tpas

Tápas Centre

Tápas Centre on Bridge Street does proper Spanish tapas. Jamón is sliced to order. Patatas bravas are crispy. Seafood is fresh. Wine list is good. Most tapas £3-6. You order multiple small plates and share. Prices add up but that’s how it works.

02 Llaollao

Llaollao

Llaollao on Market Street is more casual Spanish food. Croquetas, patatas bravas, grilled meats. Less formal than Tápas Centre. Good for lunch or casual dinner. Mains £10-14.

03 Ivy

The Ivy Spinningfields

The Ivy has Spanish influences and does proper paella if you want to book and commit. It’s expensive and formal. Mains £20+. Only if you want a special meal.

04 Order

What to Order

Tapas culture means small plates shared. Start with patatas bravas and Spanish cured ham. Get seafood if available. Order wine by the glass and pace yourself through multiple courses. It’s about the meal and conversation, not speed.
